Data we receive

When you write to hello@merki.studio or use the form that opens your email app, we receive the information you choose to send: your email address, name if included, website or tool URL, project context and message.

The website may also generate ordinary hosting logs needed for security, abuse prevention, debugging and availability.

This version does not use first-party analytics cookies, advertising pixels or hidden newsletter signup forms.

Purpose and legal basis

We use contact messages to reply, prepare a private demo, discuss a possible project, manage a commercial relationship and keep basic records of that communication.

The legal basis is the request you send before a contract, the legitimate interest in replying and protecting the website, and legal obligations where records must be kept.

Recipients and providers

Email and hosting providers may process data on behalf of the legal operator so the website and mailbox can work.

We do not sell your data and do not pass it to third parties for their own marketing.

Retention

Project enquiries are kept for as long as needed to answer, follow up, prepare a proposal, manage the relationship or meet legal record-keeping duties.

If there is no ongoing reason to keep a message, it can be deleted on request when no legal duty requires retention.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete, limit or oppose the processing of your personal data, and request portability when it applies.
